Dear Ladies
I had a miscarriage late last year which ended in a DnC and before that I was on the pill for many years... I had stopped the pill to get pregnant and managed in the first month... anyway after all that my periods when they returned have been a very long cycle.. this latest one is already on day 60 with plenty of pains and dragging sensation as if it's coming but it still have yet to appear. I know I am not pregnant yet but my question is, how do I know when I am ovulating with a cycle such as this ?? I have been trying to get pregnant now since April but with everything all over the place and travelling with work quite a lot I havent managed it yet
Any insight would be good on how I can increase my chances and how do I know when I am ovulating ?
Thanks

I think the Ovulation Predictor Kit is the best way but since you have such a long cycle, you will end up spending alot of money if you use it everyday in a 60 day cycle.
You may want to try taking your temperature using a BBT thermometer for one cycle first. You can buy this type of thermometer from Watsons or Mannings. You should see a pattern of low temperatures followed by high temperatures when you look back on that cycle. The following cycle, start using an Ovulation Predictor Kit a few days before the day in the last cycle when you had the lowest temperature and when you see two matching blue lines, then ovulation will be happening shortly afterwards.
Alot of people also rely on cervical mucus and when they see the slippery kind, they get busy.
