What's the best way for mom to back in shape after pregnant?

Actually, I think the best thing is to be in good shape before you get pregnant - like do pilates, which forces you to strengthen your deep stomach muscles. That way, you'll get your stomach back much faster.


Immediately after birth, wear a corset for a few days to put all the stomach muscles back in place.


And then after that... yes, as Cara said... EXERCISE!

Have you heard of the Belly Bandit...It helps you to bring your separated abs back together, makes you feel slimmer and makes you constantly think of your posture and core muscles. It's definitely worth a try. It's a real phenomenon in the USA....

You can't do crunches/ab exercises until you have closed the gap in your abs. This is VERY important. If you do start crunches with the separation, instead of flattening your stomach, your abs will push outwards, creating a bigger belly!!
