Hello, my DH and I are both expats in South Africa, however we are heading home and have decided to spend three nights in Hong Kong on the way, staying in Causeway Bay.
I am ten weeks pregnant and would just like some info on food safety, where would you say would be best to eat and where should we avoid? DH and I have travelled alot and are pretty sensible, but the idea of gastro while pregnant isn't something I am particuarly interested in going through.
Thanks in advance.

Hong Kong is far from third world. Just eat wisely in good restaurants and you should be fine. Avoid food served on the street or local restaurants. Most Western restaurants offer choices of imported meat and fish.

Thank you so much for your replies, I didn't think I would have to be too worried, more just sensible really. Can't tell you how much I am looking forward to some Yum Cha!

Thanks for the rec, I will definately try that out. We have had no Yum Cha since moving to South Africa and it used to be a staple part of our diet back home.
