Used it with my first. Found it good for alleviating the lower back stress that I felt. It was HOT though and an extra layer in the summer would not be that wonderful (fortunately I was due before it got too hot in HK.) My clothes also "clung" to it - so sometimes I felt like it made me seem bigger than I needed to be.

I also used it occasionally. Find it esp useful towards the final two months. It does help relieve the lower back strain.

Have to agree with hkchoichoi that it's not too great during the summer, so I only used it 'occasionally' when I know I need to walk/ stand more that day.

i found the elastic at the bottom which supports underneath the belly to be very tight. this in turn would squish out all the extra fat from my already gi-normous thighs, so when i sat down i'd feel like my circulation was being restricted.

i think i stopped using it from month 6. i found the wraparound velcro belly belts to be much better for back and belly support. but they are ugly and bulky under thin clothes.

I actually wore mine nearly everyday for the last 3 months before giving birth. It really helped support my bump and back and wished I had it for my first pregnancy.

Think it also helped that my final pregnancy months were not during the summer.

I'm like dizzydog...I found the band at the bottom way to tight & cutting into me. I only used mine once.

Yeah, the problem with the belly bra is that they are free size... so you can't choose a size up even if you find it small.

Anyway, let's assume it fits you. There are two types of bands - full belly and half belly. I'm using half-belly, which sits below the belly button. It looks less bulky under thin clothes. Full-belly gives you a better support of course, but make sure you can bear with the hot and the sweat being fully wrapped.
