are the birth restrictions and extra costs still applied, as to mainland women giving birth in HKG? after HKID obtained?

also can a mainland spouse apply for a longer stay in HKG than 2 weeks, to help look after the family babies?

There shouldn't be any extra restrictions if you have a HKID (i.e. a valid visa and reason for being in HK).

Regarding the mainland spouse, it's more complicated with Mainlanders because they not only need permission from the HK government to be in HK, but they also need permission from the Chinese government to leave China.

What HKID do you have? If you are a permanent resident then your husband can get a dependent visa, as long as you earn above HK$10,000 a month.

If you are not a permanent HK citizen, what visa are you on? It will depend on that.

husband has a 3 star HKID, we been married for 3 years now and have couple of kids born in HKG. l believe l can stay in HKG for 1 year now; use to be only two weeks. question was if a 3rd baby is had, are the quota restrictions that are applied to mainland women giving birth in HKG still applied and the extra costs over Local HKG women?

my sister would like to come through to HKG as well, as she loves our 2 kids and she helps look after them. perhaps she apply for a student visa? to get to stay with us?

thanks for information miffus
