Blood Clot Ends NHL Star's Season
Even if the Vancouver Canucks manage to advance to the Western Conference final, they won’t be getting forward Brock Boeser back any time soon.
Boeser, who has developed a blood clot that will keep him out of Game 7 on Monday night, is not expected to be able to play again this season, Sportsnet has confirmed. Frank Seravalli of DailyFaceoff.com first reported the development.
The 27-year-old developed the issue in his leg after the Canucks’ loss in Game 6 to the Oilers, according to Seravalli. The American was Vancouver’s leading scorer in the regular season, with 40 goals, and had seven more in 12 playoff games this spring. Read More
