Doggy Quiz fundraising event for HK Rescue Puppies.

We are organising a fantastic funraising event for HK Rescue Puppies.


HK Rescue Puppies is a Government registered Animal Welfare Society. We are an all volunteer run organisation that operate in the Sai kung District of HK. We rely totally on the kind hearts and good will of the public in order to continue our work (we receive no subsidies or funding from the HK Government).



In order to improve the lives of as many puppies & dogs in Hong Kong as possible, our mission is:

To rescue, rehabilitate & home abandoned & stray puppies & dogs.

To promote & encourage the de-sexing of all dogs.

To educate the public regarding the proper care & welfare of pet dogs.



We have organised a fabulous fundraising event (from 7 pm on 1 September 2010 at McSorely's in SoHo - flyer attached) to raise some money for some fantsatic dogs that we have taken into our care and are desperate for loving, permanent homes with lots of affection and regular, daily walks. The evening promising to be lots of fun, so I hope you can please rally up as many people as possible to come along. It is $100 on the door, which includes 2 standard drinks. There will be a great doggy quiz ($50 per person to enter & organisaed by "quiz master sensation John") with some great prizes to be won. The bar are kindly giving us Happy Hour drink prices until 10 pm! There will also be a lucky draw. We have lots of great dining & drinks vouchers plus Comedy Club tickets, grooming & shopping vouchers & much much more. There will be a sales table with lots of great doggy products for sale, including custom made dog bowls (for a minimum donation of HK $50 - orders can be made in advance if you would like to pick your bowl up on the night).



If you would like to help out, then we are looking for the following help:

More prizes for the lucky draw (small & big). Do you, your companies or your friends have anything that you could please donate?

New dog related donated items to sell on the sales table (toys, dog leads, blankets, beds, food, treats etc.)

Volunteers on the evening to help with the sales table (this can be done on a rota basis so that the volunteers can also have fun mingling).
