Stamp duty

Hi,


I'm considering buying a factory unit in Hong Kong and want to know if the stamp duty can be offset as an expense against tax.


I'm not sure whether to buy it privately or as a corporation and this would heavily influence the decision.

The stamp duty paid will not be deductible as an expense rather it is a capital cost.
