I rent a beautifull flat in Saikung for 3 months. I really enjoy the place but after a few weeks I experience that the commuting is tirering as I work in Wanchai very late.
I read the contract lease (2 years) and the landlord precised on it that I can break it after 11 month with 1 month notice.
Is there any workaround to escape sooner getting back my deposit ? (pretty important).
Note that the Landlord is very nice...

Try finding a tenant to take over the lease, this way you can break the contract as the landlord will have no reason not to transfer lease, he is not loosing any. if the rent is reasonable and the place nice ,you should have no problem.Saikung is quite popular.I know lots of people who like to move to SK

Yes, Saikung is GREAT, the view excellent, the appartment very good condition and big. The commuting is exhausting.... Tooo bad ;-)
