Hi, we will be relocating from the NL to HK very soon where my husband will be working in Central. As I will not have a job at first instance and we will have 3 small kids under 4, I would love to live in a kids friendly area (ie. lots of other kids, schools, playgrounds or club)on the one hand. On the other hand I would love to live at walking distance from a lively/hip/trendy street to have my coffee or browse around. Preferably I would prefer to live in a townhouse with a small (communal) garden for my kids.
What are the pros and cons of living in Stanley vs DB for my family situation?any other areas that are worth looking at?

You can check some old posts for pros and cons of living in DB. For families with kids it's great. Commute to central is by ferry. No cars on DB just golf carts. It's very kid friendly. I think if you live in Stanley you'll probably need a car. Not as much greenery in Stanley though as compared to DB.
