Renting at Park Island

ORIGINAL POST

Hi, can anyone tell me how much does it cost to rent at Park Island? I'm looking at a furnished 2 bedroom apartment. Maybe the contact of the estate agency as well. And does anyone have any comments about living there? Thanks!

I live in Park Island, work in Central and my partner works in CWB. It is an excellent place to live and more convenient to Central than the airport. We rented last year 3 room plus utility room (1000 sq ft) for 12,000 I don’t believe the rental prices have gone up since then. You may find some direct rents from www.parkisland.net and also see a lot more info on the community.

We are renting our 1027 sq ft full Park Island place 3 bdrm/2 bth with helper room/with own bath for HK$15,000/mo. It does have full frontal unobstructed sea view of both bridges. we are told that is the current market rate. Our tenant seems to really enjoy living there, since she loves all the greenery around the island. We had really good experience with Mr. Ringo Ling 93798009 from Sun Hung Kai Properties. You can let him know Mrs. Yang from Block 13 referred you.

Doudouma, thanks so much! Do you know what's the rate for a 700 sq ft apartment? I'm hoping that the rates won't go up. I'm only moving to HK in Aug and in the meantime, I'm doing my homework.

You could reasonably expect the average to be between 10 and 15 per sq ft (i paid 12 for my rental, but it had only 1 bridge view and was a bit smalller than duoduoma's) during the next 6 months.
