Fees etc on purchase....

Ok I know I have to pay stamp duty on buying a property - but is there also mortgage registration etc etc - please could someone tell me the fees I will be up for to buy in HK - other than real estate agents fees, solicitors and stamp duty.

That’s all I paid...usually the stamp duty and solicitors fee will include the mortgage registration. You may also need building insurance to cover the mortgage unless it is covered under a building master policy. You may need to pay the balance of government rates/rent, Utility's and management fees as well as pay the owner an addition to transfer the management deposits. The of course there is any decoration costs moving fees and the like.

are the fees a percentage of the property value or is it the same fees for all properties?

Agent fees are at 1% (but this can be negotiated). Legal fees are per transaction (so is different firm by firm). Stamp duty is fixed in steps or bands, based on value of property.
