I read somewhere that you can negotiate down the monthly rent on serviced apartments if you commit to a year. Sometimes by more than 30%? Has anyone had any success in doing so? Thanks.

You can give it a go but most apts are at near 100% occupancy so might be difficult in this economy to get much off...
