By now, I am driving everyone nuts! Thank you to everyone with all their information. It has really helped in my research. There were places unheard of, and others that I had discounted. The property chat is very beneficial.

I have had difficulty finding out much information about Island Resort.

It appears to marketed towards Japan selling market, on internet anyway. It looks lovely, but very, very high. Close to transport and lots to do.

Does anyone have fears living in skyscrapers?

Island Resort is great! Excellent club house, great environment with grand sea view and hiking trail all the way to the south side just behind the complex. Rent is very reasonable comparing to other places on HK island. Transport is quite convenient too with a bus terminal adjacent to the complex (routes directly to Central (about 30 mins) and even to the airport).

I used to live there and loved it. The only reason I moved was because it does not offer bigger flat (the biggest one is about 1200 sqf).

Anyway, it's terrific!

Island Resort is a great place for living - it is an escape from the crowdy HK but with all the convience in public transportation and shopping. The seaview is also breathtaking. Also very good for kids, thanks to its designated open space for kids on the 6th floor, which is big, safe, and secured. Also great value - show me another high-end seaview apartment on HK island with space over 1000 sf and price per sf below $8,000.

Anything under the 58th floor should be okay
