I, or rather we, are thinking of moving to Sai Kung. We are a family of four, plus helper and have a budget of about 20-25K, what we be able to get for this and which areA? I would love to be in easy reach of a beach and have facitilies if possible.
Not knowing a great deal about the area, only the promenade, i would love people's recommendation and help.

We live here but we pay a lot more. For that amount, you may be able to get a village house (a whole one if deeper into Sai Kung - further from Central) or at least 2 stories of a village house with a roof. There are a lot of agencies in Sai Kung. You should pop into some of them and have you show you around.

You could get a good 2 storey apartment in a small village as Belle mentions. Most villages are well connected by mini bus to Sai Kung, Hang Hau and Choi Hung. If you want facilities Jade villa has a lovely pool but 24K wont get you the space that you need for a family of four. Floral villa is also nice but about 10 minutes past Sai Kung, however it does have it own shuttle bus. Po Lo Che is a nice area and so is Che Keng Tuk rd. I can recommend Marco at Eastmount Property in Sai Kung. They have a website but better just to contact them direct.

Would also recommend Marco at Eastmount, very nice, also the staff at Sunshine properties. If you went towards the country park, or the far end of Clearwater Bay you could maybe get a whole village house, you can definately get 2 floors plus a roof though. Its a great place to live, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it out here. I've seen a couple of village houses in Sheung Sze Wan advertised for mid 20's and that is near a small beach.

Please let Terry he can post ads on the Hot Properties channel of this site for free. There are now over 10,000 people visiting that site each month and the agents are getting tremendous response.
