Where on the island can one find a very cheap flat? Kennedy Town, Aberdeen? Any suggestions would be appreciated, agents have not been too helpful so if someone can point me in the right direction that would be a great start.

i think both start at abt 9.5k per month. what sort of budget are you looking for?

Whether you're looking to buy or rent, cheap flats are plenty if you are willing to sacrifice location, size, condition, accessibility, quality of neighbours, etc.

I agree with C and with Rohan. Around the Sheung Wan/Kennedy Town area you should be able to get something relatively cheap but it depends on what size you're willing to accept, and what your budget is.
