Mmm...try Yuen Long. I paid $5,000 for a 2-bedroom, 650 sq ft. Not bad at all! Good luck!
We pay $5000 for 700sq ft, plus roof top, in Lam Tsuen near Tai Po. Lots of property available in the area and good transport.
I pay $4000/month for 700sqft and 3bed rooms at Tin Shui Wai. Far from town. But peaceful area and not so inconvenient as people said.Many bus to go every where. Pls check it.

I was lucky enough to find a $4500/month 1st floor flat in Pan Long Wan village, Clearwater Bay. Down the road you can get similar between $5000 & $7000. Lots of nice villages between Clearwater Bay & Sai Kung with good transport. Lam Tsuen valley out Tai Po/ Kam Tin way is one of my favourites, with some lovely villages there. Not too far away from bus/ KCR.
