Hi!


I'm moving to hongkong next fall to study at CUHK and since I don't fancy living in student dorms I'd like to find an apartment close to campus.


Where do I find apartments like this? Which areas are close to CUHK? what price? Maybe it's possible to share flats?

it is quite exclusive area of CUHK. I could not think of any walking distant student flat beside the student dorms. There is one area opposite to it, namely Ma on Shan, taking approx 30 min by bus (including bus waiting time).

Tai Po is close to CUHK (10 minutes by train). I used to live there when I studied in CUHK and payed 3500 HK$ for a 550sq feet flat. I think the current rent would be around 4000 - 4500 HK$ / month.


Apart from Tai Po there is a small village next CUHK and it is possible to rent rooms there. However, the quality is not good.
