Wondering if anyone knows what the penalties are for breaking a tenancy agreement prior to completing the fixed term in HK? I cannot seem to find any information on the agreement relating to that.
I have just moved into a new place and signed a 1 year fixed term at the start of the year and now it seems I have to move abroad due to personal reasons. The landlord did not want to pay the stamp duty when we signed the lease agreement so I am also wondering how that will impact me as a tenant.
