We are potentially moving to HK and not sure where the best place to live is. Would be working in North Point but will have 2 young children, so not sure the pros and cons of HK Island vs Kowloon etc.

Hi Mobile.Fidelity,

You make the Gold Coast sound terrific. Just wondering though, if you don't have a car, what is the transportation like? Access to MTR?

I'm looking for a place to rent short term in the summer. Was going to check out the Gold Coast Hotel, but was concerned about transportation and shopping. Also thinking about Discovery Bay, but don't like taking ferries.

.. i think its much better if you will take a look at ma wan area.. near park island in tsing yi station, this place is for family and relaxation. there are 3bedrooms and fully furnished.. i think if you will buy one flat here it costs 3million. and the rent here is 5000 to 6000, to think its 3 bedrooms already and fully furnished. think about it.

We are a family of 4 (kids 7 & 6) relocating to HK. Looking at park island? Are there many western xpat families there? If so I would love to hear from some and also is there an ESF school nearby and what would be the likely transport to this school?

Thanks in advance for any replies...
