Make sure the break clause is stated in your latest lease contract, if it is you're okay to move out giving notice.

If there is no break clause and you have siged a contract for 24 months, then you could be liable for 24 months' rent.

Re-check your tenancy agreement very carefully - if it is 'fixed' for 24 months with no 'get out' clause then the landlord has legal right to make you pay for the full 24 months unless you can come to agreement for him to release you early - if you really want to move out you can offer a compensation of couple of months rent to him. Laws tend to be more protective of landlord than tenant. Good luck
