Hello everyone!~
I was looking around this website and found a few rentable properties in the 5000 to 6000HK$ range. Since my budget is limited - I am a trainee starting in September with a salary of 6000HK$, I need to be careful with money.
I would like to know how many months I need to pay in advance, the deposit? During my stay on the mainland they usually took 2 months. Also, when I go to HK without having an apartment, would you consider it to be easy to find apartments within a couple of days that are within my budget?

That was not the question, actually. ;-) I wanted to know how many months landlords usually take for the deposit. I think it is at about two months. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, would you consider it to be too difficult to go out myself and find an apartment in that price range on my own within a few days?
Also, I just thought about this: Once I found a nice apartment, would I be able to instantly move in? Or would there be lots of official issues that need to be finished first?

We run a few short term flatshares on hong kong island and we only ask for a week's deposit. We do this by being quite selective of our tenants.
