Bamboo Floor

Hi, has anyone installed bamboo wood for floor? Does it work for HK humidity weather? Anything I should look out if I want to install bamboo. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

You might get in touch with the guys who are behind Green School - they also run a company called PT Bambu in Bali that makes designer bamboo furniture + entire houses... I have seen some of what they do and its very impressive... and its sustainable... http://www.greenschool.org/whybamboo

I have a friend who used to install wooden floors and said NEVER use bamboo - natural shape is round and it will always want to revert to that shape. Not good for floors. But then again, Pure Yoga has fitted entire studios with bamboo and that must be a hot and sweaty environment and it seems to hold up ok.
