Does anyone live in Harbour Place Hung Hom? Am viewing flats today, but want to know if you can hear the neighbours, what transportation is like, is it noisy? etc

I have mixed opinions. I think the estate and staff are terrific, and the flats are quite nice and affordable.
However, there is one mainland couple down the hall I can hear from time to time. They seem particularly loud and obnoxious as they yell at one another and laugh aloud to a blaring television. I consider this an isolated case, as I cannot hear even my next door neighbors (unless they are walking through the corridor or accessing the compactor room).
I think transportation is quite accessible (bus, train, ferry).
Hope this helps some.

nettyli,
I'm also interested in renting at Harbour Place but when I called they are said they are available for sale only. May I ask if your viewing flats through a real estate agency? What were they like and how much are they asking. Any information on Harbour Place would be much appreciated.
Regards

I went through an agent of Centaline. She was excellent. She only showed us places there for rent.
The 630sq ft were ranging from $9,000-12,000 per month, depending on the view
The 770sq ft were from $10,000 upwards, depending on which floor
We moved in 2 days ago. The concierge are mostly Chinese, so we are struggling a bit with the language, but otherwise ok so far.
But they won't let us leave our laundry for pick up at the lobby, which is a pain, as it means we have to be at home for deliveries and collections

I agree with Thebside. I have lived there for over a year. The flats are reasonable and facilities are good but unfortunately there are an extreme amount of mainland China residents there... Expats beware, scout out who your neighbors will be before purchasing or renting your place. I lived on a floor with majority mainlanders and became well aware of their different living habits and the use of the common facilities.
but overall its a pretty good place to live...
