Double glazing - change to floor to ceiling possible ?

Bought a flat ! :) will renovate etc.


Considering putting in double glazing and was wondering if then possible to change to floor to ceiling windows at same time since scaffolding up anyway etc... ?.


I guess shops selling the hardware know but wonder if anyone else can advise ?.


Do i need to apply to the government or building authority for these changes ?.

I would guess that it's extremely unlikely that you will be able to alter the exterior of your building (ie change the window configuration)

Same size ok; but different; whole glass panes etc ?
