Ocean Shores amazing. Have lived here 2 years. Facilities great. MTR handy - but rent/buy near MTR end. Long walk in summer if at far end.

LOHAS looks good on paper but far away, infrequent trains, funny smells etc.

Have visited there.

Thanks so much Ricardo. Mind if I also ask where are good school in the area? Is Tiu Keng Leng under ESF clearwater bay? Or where do you send you kids (oh, if you have any that is!) Any good kindies (local/international) there? do you have to pay extra for the gym etc and how is it? thank you!

Oceanshores has its own gym at no cost for residents. Its getting a little run down. Its also has several pools - both indoor and outdoors. Nearby there is a nice bicyle track which is is off the road which is about 9 km one loop so nice for running.

School wise, there are several "well known" schools but not much insofar as international or "prestige" schools if thats what you are after.

St Andrews kindergarten in Hang Hau is very good.

I live in Po Lam in The Metropolis and hate it.

It's very humid and if you don't have a dehumifier, your clothes smell.

There is also a funny type of smell every now and then too.

Lohas PArk is very undervalued - its 20%-30% below TKO prices but only 2 stops away. HK$4.3m for 970sf facing mountain - high floor.

What, praytell, makes it undervalued?

Take a look at Tung Chung, that's undervalued.

The coming supply and the difficulty of renting TKO will crush capital values in TKO back to TC and lower valuations IMHO.
