Hello,
Im hoping someone could help me here. Im interested in renting/buying a property that I could then start up a small guesthouse in Hong kong. So it will need to be fairly big and alot different than most of the property listings you see in normal real estate agents.
Im finding that there doesn't seem to be any listings of this type on any of the normal websites that you would use to search for a rental property. I know that this is not that common here in HK but im guessing there must be some way of finding if places of this size are available to rent/buy.
Does anybody know of any real estate companies that specialise in properties of this nature or any websites that i could go to.
thank

"will need to be fairly big"
Big means expensive here. What size (in sf) are you aiming for? What location(s) do you want, and what's your per sf budget? When you have these figures in mind, you should be able to ask people here how workable your budget is.
If you want a Middle Levels guesthouse, at Tung Chung prices, you are going to have a problem.

Hi
Thanks for your reply and your help. I realise that prices vary from place to place and it depends on Squarefoot etc. Im not looking to find out how much it will cost me, I am more interested in finding out where I can find listings for these sort of properties, guest houses etc. Most of the websites I have found have no listings for these sort of buildings.
To answer your question though I am looking at finding a place anywhere on HK Island that has 6 or 7 + rooms that could be made into guest rooms.
Thanks
