Dear Mike,
Yes, setting up any type of business in Hong Kong is extremely easy (can be set up in about 11 days for around HK$5,500) and is often extremely profitable. This is mainly due to Hong Kong’s favourable regulations and policies towards businesses.
As far as the Yoga business goes, there are many Spa and other relaxation type of businesses in Central however only a few that deal specifically in Yoga. It depends entirely on your ability to attract clients and to spread your message through word of mouth and small-time advertising. If you can manage to fill at least 3-4 classes a week of at least 15-18 people and perhaps small sessions/lessons on weekends, it should be enough to cover all of your basic expenses and allow you to start making profit. If you are a good instructor, word of mouth should increase your business exponentially.
