Hi all,
I run a small business (sole-proprietorship) here in Hong Kong. I have been operating for about 8 months now and business is good. I have been keeping a close eye on business income/expenses and monitor it all in accounting software etc. Receipts are filed and the numbers (pretty much) add up. The sums of money involved are far from astronomical, but I am a bit of a stickler, so I'm wondering:
Where would any of you suggest to go for tax advice / tax accounting services for a small business such as my own?
Hiring a dedicated accountant seems overkill considering the modest amounts of money involved and the fact I keep track of all income/expenditure myself. I'm really looking for somebody I could go to before tax day to run through my accounts, make sure I'm not breaking any rules or, better still, find out if I am paying more tax than I need to!
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Joe
