I have a small flat (650sq ft) which needs some basic renovations done. I'd like to re-tile a kitchen, refinish the wood floor, rework a bathroom, and get a paint job done.
I'd really appreciate a recommendation for a reliable, affordable contractor happy to do a relatively small scale project efficiently.
I am out picking materials as we speak! Just need the right contractor to work with!

I am a real estate broker in HK and I do know some contractors so if you are still looking for a contractor to do the renovations, please let me know. They are Chinese but they can do a good job for you at a reasonable price.

If you had a contractor's or similar agreement signed with the contractor and if they did not do the job properly; professionally and according to the standards; specs and requirements in the Agreement, I think you do have the right to sue them through the small claims tribunal in HK for breach of terms of the agreement and for compensations. Especially the fact that at the time of performing the electrical work, they did not have the accreditation from the proper authority.
