Does anybody know how to become a overseas property agent in HK? I know it can be no license, but if I want to take the course (looks more professional), is it same with local property agent?

Do you want to sell London properties here?
Today's SCMP says:
"HK investors are only interested in London properties in prime districts."
Is that what you want to sell? It might be better for your clients to have them buying toxic drugs. But it's up to you.

Okay.
I don't have a strong opinion on that. Maybe others can comment.
But it does puzzle me that some agents here call areas "Prime" just because they are expensive properties, not because of where they are actually located. (I lived in London for years, so I know what is "prime.")
I do hope you get "on the ground" and learn plenty about the areas that you might be selling.

EC--:
"There is a good market for this type of business in HK, (and other Asian) with investors looking for some overseas properties...."
I think they are operating on an old principle: The grass is greener on the other side of the fence.
I would welcome an in depth discussion on this site of the merits of investing in other countries now.

What do you feel is "cheap and good value" in the USA right now.
This past weekend's SMART conference focussed on:
Buffalo, Jacksonville, Cleveland, StLouis, KansasCity, etc.
Some of these probably are cheap enough to buy now

property market in us is really cheap, but not sure if it's "good". there are many houses in palm springs and buffalo only usd 50,000!!! all properties are freehold, fully managed and government guaranteed rent. of course, it's bounded by some terms n conditions. anyway, i think if u believe in the country, now s a gd time for u to invest.
