GOLD - GOOD TIME TO BUY? WHERE from?

Am interested in buying some physical gold, and would appreciate comments/advice on the following:

1)Where can one buy 1 oz 24k gold coins in Hong Kong?

2)Is my understanding correct: Canadian Maples and Australian Nuggets have the highest purity - .9999 gold or 24kt, whereas Kruggerands are 22kt or .999 gold. Are these similar when it comes to reselling? Would the prices for the same 1 oz coin be similar?

3)Where would one be able to purchase/sell these with the least premium? Hang Seng bank? BOC? any other bank?

4)I was told that BOC will not normally sell Canadian Maple gold coins to non BOC account holders, and if they do, they will only sell you 1 gold coin. Is this true? What about Hang Seng Bank?

5)Is this a good time to buy gold or have prices gone up too much?

Thanks!

Hang Seng head office in Central has coins but to buy any volume you need to open an account (15 minutes of your time...) ... KITCO in Sheung Wan has coins, bars... some of the jewelry stores in Central will have bars...
