LANDLORD BULLY TACTICS

This is just Part 1 of a series detailing, with video, audio & texts, landlord bully tactics of single female expat in the Mid-levels, Central.

Unlawfully breaking locks, middle of the night ringing the doorbell & door banging, unlawfully disconnecting electricy, stealing the single expat female victim's personal CCTV, etc. etc.

Police stop it when called on 999, but take no further deterrent action, so it's ongoing. Is that normal or can these people be held accountable?

Has anybody been in a similar situation before and what did u do?

Not seen the video yet, but if the CCTV has been stolen or removed then somebody has committed a criminal offence and police should be forced to investigate. If you have the culprit on tape then they should love it as no legwork required.

Yes the culprits were recorded on video removing the CCTV from the door, shown to the patrol officers who advised 'it is evidence, keep safely', then no further action, despite the case being referred to the CID. I received a letter from them saying the case was closed, while waiting for them to ask for the video!

On calling the Central PS to ask why the case was closed, a rookie officer unwittingly revealed that there was no mention in the police report of my video being viewed by those patrol officers who told me to hang onto it and pass it to the CID who would contact me! Corrupt or lazy?

My efforts to get an official copy of the police report have so far been met with resistance by the CID team leader. No matter how I try, Im always referred back to him for it. Yet when I call the office he's never there. When Im less busy will follow up as also reluctant to destroy someone's life over a CCTV. So surprised others don't feel the same way about discord or violence.

Part 4 Soundwill's negligence by not lifting a finger to deter harassment or take any action against those who removed the CCTV despite being offered video & audio proof. Two days after the theft and my request to Soundwill to do sth about it, I received notice my contract would not be renewed as I could not 'get along' with my neighbours! Turns out one of the locals who removed my CCTV is the boyfriend of Wilson Fung, the Leasing Manager who issued the letter.
Sigh!

Why have cops when bullies are allowed to get away with such behaviour?

Any advice on how to proceed with all this evidence is welcome.

Asiaxpat was down n then very slow at the time I posted so I thought it hadnt gone through. After awhile, I changed the title to match the video, bullies to terrorists, n tried again. I thought it hadnt gone through as well. Later I checked the forum n both were up. If either hadnt received a reply I wouldve deleted that one. However as both did, I thought it impolite to do so. Maybe we could take this discussion there.

Besides buckets of pee, how does the law address these issues?

The local guys couple who moved in 3 weeks after I did into the flat above mine decided they would harass me into moving out so their friends who had rented a basement flat in the same building could move in. Basement flats in the mid-levels are dark n damp as theyre against the hillside. They are also 'very friendly' with the Leasing Manager of Soundwill, which owns both flats.
