How to remove deceased dad's name off the deed? Kindly assist.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

My parents co-owned an apartment in Hong Kong. Dad passed away several years ago and now my mom wants to sell the place. Our Hong Kong real estate solicitor said we can’t sell the apartment until she removes him off the deed, so we need an apostille and original copy of the death certificate from our state registrar in United States.

Been going back and forth with my solicitor insist saying the Probate registry will deny our name removal request because the apostille and death certificate are not the true original copies. Everything was provided from my state!

Could someone please advise what are the procedures to remove my dad’s name off the deed in Hong Kong? Or which HK government department I can call to get more information. Many thanks in advance.
