Apply student visa in australia from hongkong

Hi everyone,
I am 26 years old and i wanna apply for student visa in australia from hk and i have a couple of questions that i couldn't find in google. So hoping to get help and ideas from everyone of you. Ok well , i am from nepal and came here in hongkong on last October through my husband . And that makes me a dependent visa holder . well long story short, we gonna divorce and thus. I am planning to go to australia for study in nurse field. Now my question, what would be better if i apply as a single or married in terms of chances of getting visa. And can i apply from here hk only ? Or do i have to go back nepal and apply ?. Second question , if i can apply from hk how long will it take ? Because, thia October, my visa will expired and if i renew then i will get visa for another 3 years. And husband is ok to renew my visa and once i get it we will divorce ...but i am thinking, if its gonna be fast visa process in australia, i will rather will apply now. Do you think thats good idea to apply while i am almost at the last months of expiring my dependent visa or shall i renew my visa and then apply..
Also, what are the procedure or process for me whose passport and citizenship is from different country ( nepal) but stays in hk and wanna apply student visa. Lets say if i get accepted ans got visa from australia , and then i change my status from married to single.. will that gives me any problem or its no big deal ? My husband is willing to help and we both wants are seprating in good and understanding way , thus he will help me in terma on hk visa. But, i am just confused whixh way should i apply and whoxh way is better that gives me more chances to be accepted in australia
