Anyone using MailChimp for email marketing?

Why is MailChimp limiting free users to send 6,000 emails every month, but to only 2,000 customer email addresses?

I want to send out monthly emails for my real estate clients, but 2,000 free is not enough.

Any suggestion who is good, and who is free to send more? I could use two or more platforms to send my monthly newsletters if it saves me money.

I think they all have a free quota....  
 
We use Hodfords (not free) and we also use our internal messaging system to send EDMS.
