Tx, that happens ALOT, probably due to reasons Patrick mentions, it does make some sense.
What I don't understand is when I call Agent X, and refer them to the property they had listed in a particular bldg. 1st question is where did I see the ad? (Asiaxpat, of course). 2nd question: What was the price? Now it could be that they have so many listings that they don't remember, but at this point I am 100% turned off - the impression I'm given is that there's different prices are listed depending on who's asking or where its listed. I could be wrong, but that's when I hang up.

Something else you will find in Hong Kong is that the estate agent will ask you what your budget is. As soon as you tell him/her you immediately get shown details of properties which greatly exceed your budget.
