We are a family of 5 looking at both these complexes. Love the Manhattan (Parkview more expensive). Do you enjoy living in either of these complexes and are they friendly family environments. Hopiing our children will have plenty of children to play with. Would love to hear about your experiences.

I never been live in those places but I have been there already, Parkview is expensive, but normally its a very nice area to live, near Peak, Repulse Bay, Causeway Bay, Central......because its in a location in between these places. Manhattan is in kowloon, just to regard the location.

Hi - we have lived in both - tho Parkview was the temp flat until we moved to Manhattan. Really did not like Parkview - very isolated, nowhere to go, hated it in fact so much that we moved before our monthly lease run out. Tho, have quite a few friends who live there and are quite happy.
Have been in Manhattan now for over a year and love it. We always wanted to be near Stanley and beaches (Stanley 10 min walk which we do every weekend. Tons of kids, the playground is probably one of the best on the island (not kidding -by the way we have Parkview friends bring their kids to our playground!). Anyway - you see where I am going with my opinion for what it is worth. Am quite surprised that Manhatthan is cheaper tho - certianly not our flat... How many bedrooms you are looking at?
If you need any more info - please feel free to pm me.

Thanks so much for your reply Idsllvn. We are looking at a 4 bedroom duplex. I'm sure they are quite hard to come by. We just found out that we can't get out of our lease until late June.
We have a child at Bradbury (I think the bus has a stop there). Saw the playground recently and was very impressed.
The Manhattan certainly does seem great value compared to Parkview.
We just have to cross our fingers and hope one comes up around June/July.
