Does anyone know whether there is any big Loft style (high ceiling, big windows, warehouse/big studio kind of feel to it) flat in HK?

I know this posting is very old, but now, I have the same question. I read that that in 2002 the Buildings & Town Planning Dept announced it's willingness to convert zoned factory space into residential loft like living spaces. since then I can't find anything on this matter. I really want to find urgently and need help from any source, even agents. I have to move within 2 months.

I want to buy something in loft setting too!
What I know is the government will not allow you to convert into residentail use. Even if they grant premission, a high premium is expected as the use is changed.
Can someone offer more insight here? I am very interested in investing/ living in such a setting. I think a lot of people are like foxyfox and me that do not want to live in the box-type apartment that has no character at all!
