can landlord or new owner break my lease?

I'm half way through the second year of my 1+1 lease. There is no clause in the contract permitting my landlord to terminate the lease but I can give one month's notice at any time.


A rep of my landlord called the other day and wanted to show the flat to a relative of the landlord. I refused.


Could my landlord try to reclaim the flat in the next 6 months? either by selling the flat to a new buyer who wants it for personal use or by saying that he wants himself or an immediate family member to live there?

1+1 lease, what does that mean? i've seen thing pretty frequently. what's the difference of saying 2 years instead of 1+1?
