Nan Fung Plaza/Oscar by the Sea/Park Cental
Can anyone give advice on any of these places in Tseung Kwan O?
Prices, space, facilities, cleanliness, views, noise, transport etc....
Are there any other places in this area that are good for families?

Interesting information thank you. I have noticed some agents are trying to direct me to only areas apparently more-favoured by expats. Obviously with higher prices too.

Have you try OSCAR by the Sea ? It is quite a walk from the MTR but very nice estate.

Nan Fung Plaza is okay. Prices are a little lower but we found the flats a bit dark and gloomy (not enough light coming in). The clubhouse is very limited too.
Oscar by the Sea is lovely. It's very quiet and flats are a decent size for the money, but you have to get a minibus or drive everywhere.
Park Central is also well-priced.
Someone mentioned Ocean Shores - it's lovely. When we lived there it was very quiet and felt very spacious, not sure what it's like now that the area is more built up. The clubhouse was amazing - I still miss it!
Residence Oasis above Hang Hau MTR is worth looking at. Reasonable prices for large flats, great clubhouse and shops and MTR really handy. We have a family and I've found this the best place as it's so convenient for everything. Good luck!

I will move to Park Central in Tsueng Kwan O soon and would love to get to know other expats around that area. I think I am going to love Park Central. I visited the Grandiose too, the apartment is brand-new and you are likely going to be the first tenant. The price for similar size is, however, Hk$1,000 more expensive than Park Central (the agent said because the Grandiose has balcony)>
I think Tsueng Kwan O is a good choice if you work on the island. It takes me 25 minutes sharp to go to Central.

I would suggest you look at Oscar By The Sea. It's a hidden gem in my opinion. I have lived in HK for 13 years in Fotan, Midlevels, Sai Wan Ho and then Hang Hau. If you have kids then OBTS is great. It isn't that far from the MTF (about 10 mins walk) or you take a minibus which is continually shuttling people around. Prices are about 14K for a 1000ft or about 7K for the smaller 750ft apartments.
Good luck

We are moving to OBTS next month,i like
The room size and even the kitchen size is really big too .,
I don't think so the walk will be so bad or tiring from OBTS to mtr station...
Wish me luck :-)

Indeed.
That is normal. Look at the beginning of the Film: The World of Suzie Wong:
(about 10 minutes in)
Better take along a Cantonese speaker: Wife or girlfriend is best I suppose
OBTS might be okay, but I think it is more than 10 minutes walk. We found Tung Chung cheaper and more convenient than OBTS.
