AsiaXPAT (Hong Kong) - Fenix Group, the company that owns City Super is said to be pursuing the sale of the premium supermarket with an asking price in the region of $400.
The HK group has engaged a broker to explore interest in the opportunity.
City Super has operated in Hong Kong for 21 years has locations throughout HK including the IFC Mall in Central and Times Square in Causeway Bay. City Super also has a presence in Shanghai and Taiwan with 7 supermarkets in both areas.
City Super is a purveyor of luxury food items and also operates cooked food areas in their supermarkets making it a favourite of the
take-away lunch crowd in Hong Kong.
