I stayed there a couple years back for three months, rooms are small (but then again, this is hk) but clean and furnishings are relatively new. many expats don't like the noise and smells from the wet market below, but it didn't really bother me since I grew up in Asia and have long grown used to these markets. I had more of a problem with the noise from the trams going past right in front of the apartment block.
I have recommended a couple of friends and they didn't have any problems that I heard of. it's convenient -- mtr nearby, supermarkets and food stalls aplenty. as long as you don't mind being in the hustle and bustle of local life in North Point (this area isn't mid-levels or soho, not by a long shot) you should be fine.
