bathroom renovation and washing line

hi all,

can someone please recommend me an english-speaking bathroom renovator in and around kennedy town who will be able to offer me a free quotation?

our new flat has a washing line which is "just" reachable from the kitchen but since there is a gas stove near that small window, it will be very inconvenient to hang out our washing (esp with my growing baby bump!). i have checked out that building from outside and all the washing line is on the same side (kitchen side) except for one which is on the living room side. it will def be better to have the washing line outside the living room so am i allowed to get a washing line fitted outside the living room? the management has said NO to my washing line but the agent told me that it should be ok till the housing dept sends me a letter to remove any illegal fixtures and that might not be anytime soon...hmmmmm. what should i do?

thanks!

true that but wont it leave a wet smell in the clothes like not refreshing if we hang them inside...? the agent told me that the previous owner used to hang theirs inside the bathroom but it will take ages to dry and will prolly "dry" with a wet smell. maybe i'll just take your tip and hang them inside for now and see how they dry. ta! :)

Does the dehumidifier solution cost you a small fortune in terms of electricity bills? I previously used one of those mobile clothes rack and parked it next to the window. Not so aesthetically pleasing, particularly with visiting guests, so need a viable alternative.
