Hi there!
Quick question. My lease on my apartment has justv expired and my loanlord wants to put up my rent from 16,000 to 18,000 (850 ft apt on Robinson Rd).
Although it's not a huge rise in rent I was wondering what my rights are with regards to having signed the lease before the July 2004 property law. Some friends have mentioned something about being able to refuse to have the rent increased for another year. Is this true??
Any insights welcome!
