Hiya all
Was wondering if you seasoned property players can give me some advice on refinancing. DO you know which banks give better offshore financing and can do multi-ccy ?
Any suggestions appreciated...

We have had excellent service from Lloyds TSB in Hong Kong. Website www.lloydstsb.com.hk. Mortgaged a property in New Zealand to purchase a holiday home in Thailand and repaying in Hong Kong dollars.

Yes Lloyds TSB probably best for this i think RBS also.
BUT mutli currency mortgage should only be your adopted approach on re-financing if you are happy to take on the risk of currency speculation.

ahh thanks a lot for your head's up
will look at both. Yes I intend to finance in either HKD or SGD as the interest is lower and i am not that highly geared so FX fluctutations should be ok for me. cheers!

"as the interest is lower" - this is unlikely to be the case due to expected currency appreciation/depreciation.
