Just a question, as being new to Hong Kong its all a little confusing...
where do i find rental properties listed that are not on hong kong island? have looked through this website and hong kong homes but the latter certainly seems to focus on the "island" mostly.
we've heard about sai kung and south lantau and are thinking of having a look in these areas (currently in a tiny serviced apartment!). They seem to be thought of as a little 'remote' for hong kong... are all the areas safe? what sort of things should i look out for?
any other suggestions like the above?

Saikunga, Hope you don't mind if I could seek your advice. We are planning to move to a village house in Sai Kung (Tsai Mong Tsai nr Country Park). We have four children (2 teens, 2 little ones). i will drive to HK Island every day. I don't mind driving or the commute but how convenient is the bus/mini bus from hang hau to Country park area as my teens may need to travel alone sometimes. Also how about security in this area. Any other advice. Thanks so much!
