I am thinking about offer lodging for a student( high school kids whose parents are expats in Mainland)
What do you think would be a reasonnable price knowing it will include: big bedroom (over 250sft), breakfast, diner, wireless internet access, amah?
Any idea?

Well the cost of student accommodation at an HK Uni, or a hostel run by a charity, is around $2800 a month. Add say $70 a day for breakfast and diner (sic) - extra if providing lunch at the weekends. Laundry is around $30 a bag at outside laundry shops, so $120 a month at one wash per week (you may want to up this). Add say $300 for air-conditioning/utilities. Add a hundred for incidentials, e.g. toilet paper. Perhaps a couple of hundred for snacks and things for student's visitors.
Perhaps a few hundred for helper which may be you give to her as monthly bonus while the student is staying with you.
Don't think the internet access should cost any extra unless you put in a extra line. You may want to block international calls from your landline - have the parents get the child a mobile phone.
Roughly that comes to around $6000. It's up to you and parents whether you think it's reasonable/doable.
