Any comments on this area? Is it near transport? Good places to stay?How does it compare to say G.C or D.B?

I've lived in MoS for 6 years now, and loved it. But it really depends on what you want. I work from home most of the time, so the peace and quiet, good air, and general quality of life is excellent. If you're a bar-hopper, or club-goer, then this is not the area for you! There are some great restaurants on the way to (and in) Sai Kung which you can get to by bus, minibus, or car. Having a car is a bonus, but not essential. Your estate will have shuttle buses to key points like University KCR station. From then, it's 25 minutes to TST or 40 into Central. The new ESF school here is a bonus if you have kids, though this is not really an "expat-ghetto" - for better or worse!

Sadly I'm moving out of HK soon, so will be renting my place here soon (look out on the 'Direct Owner Lease' section in a few days for details) but I'll be sad to go. The view, the quietness, and the air are things I'll miss most.
