Gold Coast, Discovery Bay or Pokfulam or ???

I'm moving out to HK from the UK in January, with my husband and 5 year old... we are currently planning a research trip to look at schools and accomodation options, but right now I'm thinking that DB, Gold Coast or Pokfulam would suit us best. DB is obviously tempting because it looks so family friendly, but I am concerned about the transport links (hubby has to commute to Tsim Sha Tsui) and the shortage of school places. Finding it hard to get an honest opinion about Gold Coast and the school situation (ie. there doesn't seem to be any English or International schools.) I didn't really want to be on HK island, but Pokfulam is looking more and more tempting...particularly Bel Air or Belchers. Any advice or alternative areas would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Perhaps you should consider South Bay, island side. That's where Hong Kong International School is located.
